This Privacy Policy explains what personal data LegitDress collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. We collect only the data needed to operate the Service and handle it with care.
1. Who We Are
LegitDress operates an online authentication service from the Republic of Cyprus. For the personal data processed through the Service, the operator of LegitDress acts as the data controller. You can reach us about any privacy matter at support@legitdress.com.
2. Data We Collect
We collect account data (your email address and, optionally, a display name); order content (photographs of items you submit, together with brand, item, and category details); transaction data (deposits and payments, including on-chain USDT TRC-20 transaction details and the wallet addresses involved); technical data (IP address, device and browser information, and session identifiers); and any messages you send to support.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to create and manage your account, perform authentication and issue certificates, credit and reconcile payments, provide customer support, secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the quality and accuracy of the Service.
4. Legal Bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service you request), on the basis of your consent where required (for example, when you agree to these policies at sign-up), to meet our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service in a manner that does not override your rights.
5. Photographs and Assessment Records
Photographs you upload are used to assess authenticity, to generate and support certificates, and to maintain a record of the assessment. They may be retained as part of the order and certificate history so that issued certificates remain verifiable.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the authenticators who review your submissions, to the extent needed to perform the assessment; with service providers who host and operate the Service on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations; and with authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
7. Payments and Blockchain
Balance top-ups are made in USDT on the TRON network. Blockchain transactions are recorded on a public ledger that is outside our control, so wallet addresses and amounts associated with your deposits may be publicly visible. Private keys for deposit wallets are stored in encrypted form.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, keep issued certificates verifiable, comply with legal, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including encryption of sensitive material such as wallet keys, access controls, and activity logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Where data is processed in a location different from yours, we take steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable data-protection law.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and a copy of the data you provided in a portable format. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy, including cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and for remembering your language preference.
13. Children
The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
